Dampus Sarangkot short and easy trek. This is one of the shortest, yet most classic treks in Annapurna region. It passes through country inhabited by a wide diversity of people. It offers spectacular mountain scenery and takes you north of Annapurna & Mt. Machhapuchare ranges. Three days trek to the Dhampus and Sarangkot hill is short but quite a rewarding trek. Walking through sparse villages, farm terraces and short stretch of woods we reach to the Dhampus hill after few hours of walk from Phedi. A close face to face view of a long range of Annapurna and other mountains greets us on reaching Dhampus. We enjoy the amazing sunsets on the Himalayas in the evening and sunrise, a scenery that you will treasure for long.
This will give an opportunity to describe The Gurung Culture and lifestyle.
