Kusum Kanguru, an impressive peak of rock and ice possess a great challenge to the mountaineers. It is considered the most difficult peak for climbing among the trekking peaks in Nepal. Among the three summits, the north face of the main summit is the most impressive. For the south – east face route, the approach is made from Hinku Valley side and for the north face route we follow the trekking trail of Everest base camp up to Manjo and move ahead towards the east - south for two days to reach the base camp. The climbing is technically difficult to all possible routes and requires very good skills and experience of climbing on rock and ice.
